From California to Norway to Peru: The Path That Shaped My Breathwork Journey

Before Liberti Breathwork found its home in Peru and across Latin America, the path there was anything but linear.

After launching Liberti Breathwork in California and traveling to Florida to teach people how to breathe more consciously, I felt a quiet but persistent calling to keep expanding my work beyond familiar territory. What started as local sessions and workshops was beginning to feel bigger than one place.

Breathwork Beyond Borders

That calling became very real when a dear friend, and dōTERRA advocate living in Norway, invited me to her home. She offered me the opportunity to bring breathwork to the west coast of Norway and launch a small series of events there.

Traveling to Norway felt like a dream. Leaving behind the fast, charged energy of Los Angeles and arriving in a landscape of fjords, mountains, clean air, and vast open nature was deeply grounding. It reminded me why breath matters so much. The environment itself invited slower breathing, deeper presence, and a different relationship with the nervous system.

During that trip, I guided breathwork sessions:

  • on beaches

  • in yoga studios

  • in small, intimate community spaces

I traveled through cities like Molde, Oslo, Drammen, Mo i Rana, and Geiranger, sharing breathwork practices with people from different backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. Even with language and cultural differences, the breath created immediate connection. No translation needed.

Discovering Breathwork as a Global Language

That experience changed something fundamental for me.

I realized that breathwork is a universal language. I could guide people anywhere in the world, and the body would understand. The nervous system would respond. The breath would meet people exactly where they were.

Traveling and teaching in Norway sparked a deep passion for sharing this work internationally. It showed me that breathwork didn’t belong to one country, one culture, or one wellness scene. It was something that could adapt, integrate, and serve communities across the world.

The Call Back to Peru

After Norway, the next step felt clear.

What called me forward was a return to my homeland of Peru. I felt a strong pull to bring breathwork into the Latin American community, not as an imported trend, but as a grounded, respectful practice that could support nervous system regulation, emotional release, and conscious leadership within a cultural context I deeply understood.

That return became the foundation for what Liberti Breathwork is today: a bridge between modern breathwork science, lived experience, and the cultural richness of Latin America.

Looking back, California taught me how to build, Norway showed me what was possible, and Peru gave the work its roots.
